Facility Management is a fast developing discipline in management, contributing to the strategic performance of companies and not-for-profit organizations. This challenging professional field is greatly driven by technological innovation. Characterized by coordinated actions in resource management, it covers traditional FM services together with information and communication services as well as logistic operations, HRM and financial services. The facility manager is the enabler by excellence, leading the operations and development of resource utilization to satisfy customers optimally. By doing so, the position of the facility manager is continuously changing. It is not a static, but a flexible and vibrant area of expertise where parts of procurement, ICT, HRM, and finance - as new competence areas within FM – are demanding serious attention. Globalization and internationalization have far reaching consequences for organizations.

The Executive MBA FM is a general MBA program in which the modern facility manager and the area of FM are the focal point of study.
