Programme Content

Overview

Based on the SCOR model, this module provides an in-depth understanding of the application of contemporary models, practices and performance measures to diagnose supply chain performance and to develop supply chain strategies.

Student centered learning will be strongly encouraged and developed. Cooperative Learning and Problem-Based Learning will be infused into the teaching-learning-assessment strategies.

Group discussion, case analysis and self directed learning resources will be available to support the delivery and the appropriate assessment tools / tasks will be used to assess the intended learning outcomes.

On completion of this module, students will be able to:

  • Critically review the supply chain’s performance and practices of manufacturing and industrial organisations.
  • Develop action plans for upgrading the supply chain practices and supporting ICT systems to deliver improved supply chain performance.
